2 Months!!!

Ahh! Another almost 2 months has passed since I posted last. I thought that I would stick with this, but it seems that life had other plans and I have been pretty swamped. So without a load of excuses and such I will begin again like nothing happened... haha.

To bring you up to speed; Bill got the job! So he will be leaving the day after Christmas for 5 months. He's excited and nervous I am sure. He's continuing to work hard on the house to get it ready to put on the market and we are both praying for a quick sell even if it means that I will move into and apartment with the kiddos to continue to go to school here. He is currently doing OJT at the office here at Barksdale, so he's wearing suits and looking sharp everyday, I think he's liking that.

Me: I am still in school. I still love photography. The critiques that I was fearing are really nothing and I have been getting nothing but positive feedback on my photos. It has made me feel a million times better. Prior to this I was starting to doubt myself and think that maybe I love this so much because they are pictures of my kids, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Other then that, tons of appointments with the VA and getting that settled. I am trying to prepare myself for essentially becoming a single mom, not fun, I just keep thinking, "absence makes the heart grow fonder" right? and who couldn't use that? I feel like I have a million things to do before Bill leaves, and I can't get it all straight to do them. Sigh.

Cheyenne: She's still being 2. Her birthday is next weekend and we plan on having a small Hello Kitty party at the house to celebrate. We have been going to the park lately and she is loving it. It's finally nice enough to spend a lot of time outside and it's nice to wear the kids out before dinner. She's starting to get a little mean towards Landon and pretty much hates sharing with him, so that's something that we have to figure out. The 1,2,3... Magic was not. We tried it for a few weeks and are still trying it, but it's not really working, this is one tough kid. She is still very sweet though and tries her hardest to help out, even if it makes more for me to do, haha.

Landon: He's doing great! 8 teeth now, 4 on top and 4 on bottom. He's cruising everywhere and is a BIG boy, I am guessing he's over 25 lbs now. He's clapping and waving and trying to talk. He's still the sweetest little guy ever and if I knew everyone would turn out like him I would have a million more kids.

The cat: Yes, we got a cat. Her name is Sushi (that was the name her previous owners gave her) and she's declawed, spayed and an indoor cat, so she's pretty much perfect for us. She avoids the kids for the most part and hangs out anywhere I have the shades open and sleeps in the sun all day (ohh, how wonderful that must be). When she is hanging out with them, she is awesome with the kids. Cheyenne will drag her by the tail and Landon will try and "pet" her eyes, and she doesn't care a bit. She's a good fit, now if I could just get her to go to the potty instead of the litter box... haha.

Now you are up to date for the most part... I will try and be better at this.
